Recovering a corrupt Excel file

Excel 2003 has a handy built in feature to help recover data from a corrupt file.

To use the feature:

• go into Excel
• choose ‘File - Open’.
• Browse to your file
• On the edge of the’Open’ button (Down arrow) click and choose ‘Open and Repair’

There are a few options you can use in there to try to recover data and/or formulas.
