Chinese or Japanese symbols in Access
If you suffer from symbols appearing in your table(s) and it doesn’t go with a ‘Compact and Repair’ there is another method which has worked for me.
- Create a new blank access database
- Open your corrupt database
- right mouse click on the table
- choose ‘Export’
- browse to your new database
That should get rid of the problem - for now…
