Media Player Toolbar
A very simple, but often unknown feature with Windows Media Player is to have it sit as a Media Player Toolbar on your taskbar.
To activate, simply right mouse click on the taskbar, go to ‘Toolbars’ and choose Windows Media Player.
If your taskbar is locked and doesn’t allow it, right click on the taskbar and choose ‘Lock the taskbar’ to take the tick off.
