Generic Host Process for Win32 Services encountered a problem and needed to close.
This error (I believe) is restricted to Windows XP Service pack 2 and is resolved by installing a Windows Update. This can be found using Windows update.

If you would like to open Internet Explorer in Full Screen (Kiosk) mode simply use “iexplore.exe -k” (from the Run option of the Start Menu).
Alternatively, you could create a desktop shortcut - or add a shortcut in your Startup folder if you want it opening automatically on startup.
